Lee Li Holdings is investing $533 million in renovating and expanding its existing Mississauga, Ontario bottling plant and building a new 85,000 sq ft facility, expected to create 275 jobs with $90 million in provincial funding.

The Government of Canada through FedDev Ontario announced C$7.8 million to help three York Region manufacturers, including Vision Profile Extrusions in Woodbridge, scale up and create 116 skilled jobs in Ontario.

Alberta, federal and other funders invested $4.5 million to expand TerraVerdae Bioworks' product development facilities in Edmonton, Alberta, for biodegradable PHA bioplastics. The announcement was made on April 29, 2020.
