Siemens Canada celebrated the completion of a one-year expansion at its Drummondville, Quebec factory, adding over 40,000 sq ft of production space at an investment of about CAD 14 million, supported by a CAD 5.6 million Quebec government loan.

Emerson expanded manufacturing capacity at its 63,000 sq ft Brantford, Ontario facility by adding production of AVENTICS pneumatic cylinders. The move shortens lead times for Canadian automation customers to one to five business days.

Emmerson Packaging is investing approximately $3.5 million to build a connector between its Amherst main plant and its warehouse, adding self-driving forklifts for material movement, reported January 2021.
