Daikin Industries Ltd. signed an agreement to acquire Austrian group AHT, a leader in commercial refrigeration systems, for 881 million euros. The transaction will be completed in January 2019 through Daikin Europe N.V. purchasing all shares from private equity shareholder Bridgepoint.

KSB has invested several million euros to acquire an interest of almost 20% in Ecop, an Austrian developer of large industrial heat pumps. The stake gives KSB access to the market for large heat pumps.

Spirotech is acquiring the Austrian family business EDER, including its pressurisation technology and about 90 employees, effective 1 January 2022. The deal adds EDER's pressurisation solutions to Spirotech's HVAC system water quality range.

Nidec signed a definitive agreement with Secop Austria to acquire the Delta household refrigeration compressor production line in Fürstenfeld, taking over about 40 employees. Closing is expected by June 1, 2020.
