OCI signs silane supply deal with Nexeon for silicon anode materials

OCI signed a contract with UK-based Nexeon to supply specialty silane (SiH4) for silicon anode materials from 2025 for five years, worth 70 billion KRW. OCI will build a 1,000-ton-per-year silane plant in Gunsan, starting commercial production in the first half of 2025.
