Alabama Power selects Mitsubishi Power JAC gas turbine for Plant Barry

Alabama Power has selected a Mitsubishi Power JAC power island with Black & Veatch as EPC consortium for a new 720 MW combined cycle unit at its James M. Barry Electric Generating Plant in Mobile County, Alabama. The project will employ over 300 construction workers and 30 permanent employees.
