Smurfit Kappa applied in July to extend its corrugated packaging plant on Mold Business Park in Flintshire by more than 14,000 square metres. The company says the expansion would secure 170 existing jobs and create around 50 new ones, making Mold its largest UK production site.

“It will essentially elevate the Mold site to become Smurfit Kappa's largest UK production facility.”machinery-market.co.uk
