SIDPEC selects Honeywell UOP propylene technology for Egypt complex

Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Co. (SIDPEC) chose Honeywell UOP's C3 Oleflex technology to produce 500,000 metric tons per year of on-purpose propylene at its refinery in Amerya, near Alexandria, Egypt. Honeywell will provide the process design package, equipment, training, and catalysts.
