British Steel signs £70M export deal for Nigeria port redevelopments

British Steel has secured a £70 million contract with Hitech Construction Africa Ltd to supply 120,000 tonnes of steel billet for the modernization of the Tin Can Island and Lagos Apapa port complexes in Nigeria. Deliveries will start in spring 2026 and continue over three years.
