# BASF intends to take over DOMO Chemicals' 49% stake in Alsachimie joint venture

BASF and DOMO Chemicals signed an agreement giving BASF the right to take over DOMO Chemicals' 49% share of the Alsachimie joint venture, in which BASF currently holds 51%. The transaction is expected to close by mid-2025, making BASF the sole owner of the polyamide precursor production site in Chalampé, France.
