# Çimsa to expand CAC capacity at Mersin plant, Turkey

Çimsa Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has received a 'ÇED not required' decision and started investment to expand its calcium aluminate cement (CAC) production capacity at its Mersin factory. The new 66,000-tonne clinker line will increase total capacity by 50% to 197,000 tonnes, with completion planned for the first half of 2026.
