# Asahi Kasei completes new Nantong plant for HDI and PCD

Asahi Kasei Fine Chemical (Nantong) Co., Ltd. completed a new plant in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone, with an investment of about CNY2.2 billion. The plant has a designed capacity of 20,000 tons/year of Duranate (HDI polyisocyanate) and 10,200 tons/year of Duranol (PCD). Commercial production is expected to start at the end of March 2025.
