# Emerson to acquire Flexim, German ultrasonic flow measurement firm

Emerson agreed to acquire FLEXIM Flexible Industriemesstechnik GmbH, a Berlin-based maker of clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement technology with about 450 employees. Flexim's Berlin headquarters is planned to become Emerson's Ultrasonic Flow Measurement Center of Excellence. No price was disclosed.
