# Kolon Industries to expand tire cord plant in Vietnam with $300B investment

Kolon Industries announced it will invest approximately 30 billion Korean won to add tire cord heat treatment equipment at its Vietnam plant, using idle equipment from its closed Nanjing, China factory.
