# Suez breaks ground on 200,000 m³/day expansion of Chongqing Tangjiatuo wastewater plant

Suez and its partners held a groundbreaking ceremony for the fourth-phase expansion of the Chongqing Tangjiatuo wastewater treatment plant on December 30, 2024. The expansion will add 200,000 cubic meters per day of capacity, bringing the total to 600,000 m³/day, and is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
