# GE Vernova to supply grid-stabilizing STATCOM technology to 50Hertz in Germany

GE Vernova has secured a contract from 50Hertz Transmission GmbH to deliver a 300 Mvar FACTSFLEX GFM solution, a STATCOM with Grid Forming Control, to enhance grid stability. Two units will be deployed at Siedenbrünzow and one at Röhrsdorf substations.
