Xinxiang Chemical Fiber (Xinxiang Bailu Investment Group) has signed an agreement for a 36 billion yuan ($36M) project in Dongying, Shandong, covering Juncao (a type of grass) cultivation and bio-based fiber production. The first phase includes a 5,000-ton Juncao fiber pilot line scheduled to start production in December 2024.
