# Blue Star Toray breaks ground on reverse osmosis membrane plant in Beijing

Blue Star (Group) Co., Ltd. and Toray Industries, Inc. jointly broke ground on a reverse osmosis membrane production plant in Beijing on August 24, 2009. The plant, with a total investment of approximately CNY 600 million, is scheduled to start production in October 2010, producing 6.18 million square meters of reverse osmosis membranes and 130,000 membrane elements annually.
