Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) received an order worth over Rs.6,100 crore from NTPC Ltd for the EPC package of the 1×800-MW Sipat supercritical thermal power project (Stage III) in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The order includes supply of equipment, erection, commissioning and civil works, scheduled for completion by September 20, 2028.
