# Maaden to acquire Alcoa's stake in Maaden Aluminium and Maaden Bauxite and Alumina

Maaden and Alcoa entered into a Share Purchase and Subscription Agreement on September 16, 2024, under which Maaden will acquire Alcoa's shares in Maaden Aluminium Company (MAC) and Maaden Bauxite and Alumina Company (MBAC) for $150 million in cash and newly issued Maaden shares representing about 2.21% of Maaden's share capital, giving Maaden full ownership and control.
