# MMC RYOTEC to build new plant for mining tools in Thailand

MMC RYOTEC Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, has decided to construct a new plant at OTEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to expand manufacturing capacity for mining and civil engineering tools (bits and rods). The new plant is scheduled to start operation in October 2025 and will double production capacity.
