ROMONTA inaugurated a new substitute fuel power plant at its Amsdorf site, with an investment of around €90 million. The plant will process up to 140,000 tonnes of substitute fuels annually and save about 400,000 tonnes of CO2 per year, enabling a coal phase-out by 2025.
