# Baosteel, Baowu Aluminum and Kobe Steel form automotive aluminium JV

Baoshan Iron and Steel (Baosteel), Baowu Aluminum, and Kobe Steel have formed a joint venture, Kobelco Baosteel Automotive Aluminum Rolled Products, to produce aluminium sheets for automotive manufacturers in China. Kobe Steel holds 50%, Baosteel and Baowu Aluminum jointly hold 50%. Registered capital is RMB 900 million ($125 million). Production facilities are planned in Tianjin and Henan province.
