# Kobe Steel and Baowu Aluminum to form joint venture for automotive aluminum panels in China

Kobe Steel has signed a joint venture agreement with Baowu Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd. to form a new company, Kobelco Baosteel Automotive Aluminum Rolled Products Co., Ltd., integrating Kobe Steel's subsidiary in Tianjin with Baowu Aluminum's lines. The JV will manufacture and sell aluminum panels for automakers in China.
