# RWE awards Tecnicas Reunidas and Ansaldo Energia contract for hydrogen-ready CCGT plant in Germany

RWE has awarded a consortium of Tecnicas Reunidas and Ansaldo Energia the contract to build an 800 MW hydrogen-ready combined cycle gas turbine plant at the Gersteinwerk site in Münster, Germany. The plant is planned to be commissioned by 2030 and will initially use 50% hydrogen, later exclusively hydrogen.
