Geregu Power PLC and Siemens Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop solutions for expanding the capacity of the Geregu 1 power plant from 435MW to 500MW, establish combined cycle operations for an extra 200MW, and build new facilities for an additional 500MW, aiming for a total nameplate capacity of 1200MW.
