# Mitsubishi Power consortium wins EPC contract for Portocem power plant in Brazil

A consortium of Mitsubishi Power Americas and CONSAG Engenharia signed an EPC contract with Portocem Geração de Energia and New Fortress Energy to build the 1.6 GW UTE Portocem thermoelectric power plant in Brazil. Mitsubishi Power will supply four M501JAC gas turbines.
