# Mitsubishi Power to supply gas turbines for 1.6 GW Portocem power plant in Brazil

Mitsubishi Power Americas and CONSAG Engenharia signed an EPC agreement with Portocem Geração de Energia and New Fortress Energy for the Portocem Thermoelectric Power Plant in Brazil. Mitsubishi Power will supply four M501JAC gas turbines for the 1.6 GW simple-cycle plant, with commercial operation scheduled for 2026.
