Wood has been awarded a contract by Antofagasta Minerals S.A. to support the expansion of the Esperanza Sur pit at the Nueva Centinela copper project in Chile. The project is part of AMSA's $4.4 billion investment and will produce an additional 170,000 copper equivalent tonnes per annum. First production is expected in 2027.
