# Saint-Gobain to add second float glass line at Ain Sokhna plant

Saint-Gobain will increase capacity of its Ain Sokhna float plant in Egypt by constructing a second flat glass production line, increasing production volume by 85%. The foundation stone was laid in March 2024, and a solar farm was also inaugurated. The expansion was reported on April 23, 2024.
