# Damen Naval orders RENK gearboxes for ASW frigates

Damen Naval has contracted RENK to supply eight gearbox systems for four new Anti-Submarine Warfare frigates, two each for the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Belgian navy. The first gearboxes are due for installation in October 2025, with the first frigate scheduled for delivery in 2028.
