# Plastic Omnium joint venture starts construction of hydrogen vessel plant in Shanghai

PO-Rein, a 50/50 joint venture between Plastic Omnium and Zhejiang Rein, has started construction of a 28,000-square-meter mega-plant in Shanghai's Jiading Hydrogen Park. The factory will produce up to 60,000 hydrogen pressure vessels per year for the Chinese commercial vehicle market, with operations expected to begin in 2026.
