# Berry Global to spin off and merge Health, Hygiene and Specialties business with Glatfelter

Berry Global has signed an agreement to spin off and merge the majority of its Health, Hygiene and Specialties business, including its Global Nonwovens and Films arm, with Glatfelter Corporation. Berry will receive net cash proceeds of approximately US$1 billion, and Berry shareholders will own 90% of the combined company.
