# Silan Microelectronics and NIO sign SiC module supply agreement

Silan Microelectronics (Xinlian Jicheng) announced on January 30, 2024 that it signed a production supply agreement with NIO to become the supplier of NIO's first self-developed 1200V silicon carbide (SiC) module. The modules will be used in NIO's 900V high-voltage pure electric platform.
