Wacker Chemie AG is investing approximately $100 million to build a VAE copolymer emulsion reactor and a VAE redispersible latex powder spray drying facility at its Nanjing production base, more than doubling polymer production capacity. The new equipment is scheduled to start operations in the second half of 2022.
