# Hydro signs long-term anode sourcing agreement with Sanvira Tech

Norsk Hydro signed an 8-year agreement with Sanvira Tech LLC to supply carbon anodes from Oman for Hydro's Norwegian smelters, covering up to 25% of Hydro's annual anode needs of about 600,000 tonnes. The anodes will be produced at Sanvira's new facility in Oman, expected to be completed in Q1 2025.
