# Röhm and SABIC merge acrylic and polycarbonate film businesses to form POLYVANTIS

Röhm's Acrylic Products business and SABIC's Functional Forms business will merge to form POLYVANTIS, a new global player in acrylic and polycarbonate films and sheets with sales of about $700 million and 1,500 employees. The deal, originally signed in December 2022, is expected to close around Q2 2024.
