# Iljin Electric to raise $75M for ultra-high voltage transformer and cable plant expansions

Iljin Electric decided on a 100 billion won ($75 million) rights offering to invest 68.2 billion won in expanding its ultra-high voltage transformer plant and 35 billion won in expanding its ultra-high voltage cable plant. The transformer plant capacity is expected to grow from 260 billion won in sales (end-2023) to 433 billion won by 2026, and the cable plant from 380 billion won to 620 billion won.
