Wacker Chemie held a kick-off event at its Zhangjiagang site in Jiangsu province to mark the start of construction of several new production lines for functional silicone fluids, silicone emulsions and silicone elastomer gels. The company will invest about €150 million, with lines due onstream in the second half of 2025.
