Dresser-Rand, part of Siemens Power and Gas, received an order from BP to supply two DATUM compressor trains with Siemens electric motors for the Mad Dog 2 floating production platform in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Equipment ships in 2018 and oil production is expected to begin late 2021.
