# POSCO and Hebei Iron and Steel inaugurate Hagang Pohang automotive steel plant in China

POSCO and Hebei Iron and Steel Group jointly inaugurated phase 1 of the Hagang Pohang automotive coated steel sheet plant in Hebei Province, China, with an annual capacity of 450,000 tons. The joint venture, with a total investment of $600 million, will have a combined capacity of 1.35 million tons including the Guangdong Pohang plant.
