# GE HealthCare to install first CT scanner production line in France

GE HealthCare announced the installation of the first medical CT scanner production line in France at its Buc site (Yvelines), starting operations in June 2024. The line will assemble the Revolution Maxima scanner for European customers, previously made in Beijing, China, reducing transport CO2 emissions by 84%.
