# Sweco to design heat pump and electric boiler plants for Helen in Helsinki

Sweco has been appointed EPCM partner for Helen's plant investments in Eiranranta and Salmisaari, Helsinki. The Eiranranta plant will produce district heat and cooling from wastewater heat; the Salmisaari complex includes a 14 MW heat pump and 100 MW electric boiler. Commissioning is planned for 2025.
