FQM Zambia's Kansanshi mine commissioned the first of 36 new Hitachi EH4000 dump trucks as part of the $1.25 billion S3 expansion project. The expansion includes a smelter, process plant, and mining fleet upgrade to increase copper production to 260,000-280,000 t/y by 2025.
