# West International Holding launches cement plant construction in Moroto, Uganda

President Museveni launched the groundbreaking of a clinker and cement production plant in Moroto District, Uganda, set up by West International Holding Limited (subsidiary of China West Cement Limited). The plant will produce approximately 6,000 tonnes per day of clinker, saving Uganda $380 million in imported clinker.
