Shanghai Rongrong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd signed an agreement with Baise city government to invest approximately 10.7 billion yuan (about $1.5 billion) to build an alumina fiber manufacturing base in Baise, Guangxi. The plant will have a total planned annual capacity of about 12,500 tons of alumina fiber products, making it the largest single factory of its kind in China.
