# Mitsui Chemicals and Asahi Kasei to form nonwovens joint venture MA Life Materials

Mitsui Chemicals and Asahi Kasei will establish a new joint venture, MA Life Materials, on October 2, 2023, to combine their nonwovens businesses in Japan and Thailand. Mitsui Chemicals will hold 60.62% and Asahi Kasei 39.38%. Koichi Yanase has been appointed president.
