# Aisan Industry to build new plant for BEV battery cell cases in Anjo, Japan

Aisan Industry Co., Ltd. will construct a new press plant within its Anjo factory premises in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, to manufacture aluminum cases and covers for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles. The plant will cost approximately JPY 2.5 billion (building investment only) and is scheduled to start operations in April 2025, with sales expected to reach JPY 4 billion in fiscal 2026.
