# Carlsberg signs conditional PEF offtake agreement with Avantium

Carlsberg Group has signed a conditional offtake agreement with Avantium to secure a fixed volume of PEF polymer from Avantium's FDCA Flagship Plant, which is planned to start up in 2024. Carlsberg will use the resin in its Fibre Bottle packaging.
