# Daikin expands cassette unit production in Pilsen, Czech Republic

Daikin in Pilsen started serial production on a new F8 line for indoor cassette units, increasing capacity by 33% to 600 units per shift. The line cost 120 million CZK and is part of a new hall that will also house a new R5 line and powder coating line. The new hall will be fully operational by December 2023, adding about 150 jobs.
