# Ypsomed expands production facility in Schwerin with new hall

Ypsomed held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 3,300 m² production hall and 1,600 m² warehouse in Schwerin, Germany. The expansion will create 60 new jobs and enable production of over 250 million infusion sets, pens and autoinjectors per year. The plant is expected to be operational after one year of construction.
